Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 13 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 3 6 oz. packages semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 pint marshmallow cream
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix together sugar, evaporated milk, and butter in a saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and maintain a rolling boil for six minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  4. Add marshmallow cream, vanilla, and chopped pecans; mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a prepared pan and let it cool until set before cutting into squares.
