Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
  • 1/2 tsp. dried leaf sage, crumbled
  • 2 medium onions, thin rings
  • 1 large cooking apple, sliced
  • 1/3 cup white wine

Instructions

  1. Brown the pork chops in vegetable oil on both sides.
  2. Remove from heat and drain off excess fat.
  3. Crumble dried leaf sage over the meat.
  4. Top with onion slices and apple slices.
  5. Sprinkle with white wine.
  6. Cover and cook until the meat is no longer pink in the center.
  7. Microwave, covered, at high for 3 minutes, then at medium for 6 minutes.
  8. Let the dish stand for 2 minutes before serving.
