Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooled broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • flour

Instructions

  1. Remove chicken from broth when tender.
  2. Combine cooled broth, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add enough flour to the mixture to form a stiff dough that can be rolled out, but not too stiff.
  4. Roll out the dough very thin on a floured surface.
  5. Cut the dough into pieces of desired size.
  6. Drop the pieces into boiling broth.
  7. Reduce heat to just boiling, cover the cooker with a lid, and cook until the dumplings are done.
