Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Melt butter, add cocoa and water; boil.
  2. Pour over sifted dry ingredients.
  3. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.
  4. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
  5. Use jelly roll pan.
