Ingredients

  • 2 (32 oz.) dill pickles
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. hot sauce (Texas Pete)
  • 1/2 tsp. dried red pepper flakes
  • 3 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Combine pickles, sugar, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl; stir well.
  2. Cover and let stand for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. Spoon pickles into pint canning jars.
  4. Add a clove of garlic to each jar.
  5. Cover with metal lids and screw on bands.
  6. Store in refrigerator.
