Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 6 medium potatoes, cut in length
  • 6 carrots, cut in 1 to 2-inch lengths
  • 2 sticks celery, cut in 1-inch lengths
  • 4 to 6 onions, quartered
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup

Instructions

  1. Put beef stew meat and vegetables in a roaster or Dutch oven. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sprinkle the tapioca over the ingredients.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Add the cream of tomato soup and water.
  5. Cover and bake at 275°F for 5 hours.
