Ingredients

  • 3 pt. sugar
  • 1 1/2 pt. cream
  • 1 pt. Karo syrup
  • 2 lb. pecans
  • vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cook sugar, cream, and Karo syrup slowly until soft-ball stage is reached.
  2. Remove from heat and add vanilla; let it cool until lukewarm.
  3. Add pecans to the mixture.
  4. Beat until the mixture becomes stiff like fudge.
  5. Pour into a greased pan and allow to set.
