Ingredients

  • assorted thin sliced lunch meat (ham, turkey, chicken, beef)
  • pepper cheese, grated
  • Cheddar cheese, grated
  • flour tortillas
  • vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Top each tortilla with one slice of assorted thin sliced lunch meat and one tablespoon of grated pepper cheese and cheddar cheese.
  2. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling and pierce with a toothpick to secure.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Drop the rolled tortillas into the hot oil and cook until lightly brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the flautas and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
