Florida Orange Bread

Instructions
- Remove orange rind from oranges and cut into slivers.
- Combine sugar and water with rind in pan.
- Stir until sugar dissolves. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Mixture should measure 1 1/2 cups.
- Add butter and stir until melted.
- Add orange juice and eggs.
- Mix dry ingredients with orange juice mixture in a large bowl.
- Batter will be lumpy.
- Bake in greased loaf pan 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325° or in 4 small pans 45 minutes.
