Ingredients

  • yellow cake mix
  • 2 pkg. instant pudding (vanilla, chocolate or lemon)
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 large container Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Cook the cake as directed in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Allow the cake to cool, then cut into cubes.
  3. Mix both packages of pudding with milk and let it thicken.
  4. In a large glass or trifle bowl, layer 1/2 of the cake cubes, 1/2 of the pudding, 1/2 of the whipped topping, drained oranges, drained pineapple, and coconut.
  5. Repeat the layers, ending with coconut on top.
  6. Chill for several hours before serving.
