Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 pretzel rods, halved
  • 2 chocolate candy coating squares, melted

Instructions

  1. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy.
  2. Gradually add brown sugar, beating until blended.
  3. Add flour and salt, beating until blended.
  4. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Shape dough into 16 (1 1/4 inch) balls.
  6. Insert a halved pretzel rod into each dough ball to form a broomstick.
