Ingredients

  • 6 medium green peppers
  • 1 (15 oz.) can chili beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup whole kernel corn
  • 3/4 cup catsup

Instructions

  1. Cut a thin slice from the stem end of each green pepper.
  2. Remove all seeds and membranes from the peppers.
  3. Wash the inside and outside of each pepper.
  4. Mix chili beans, corn, and catsup; lightly stuff each pepper with this mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed pepper securely in double-thickness heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  6. Cook on medium coals for 15 to 20 minutes or grill 3 to 4 inches from hot coals for 30 to 40 minutes, turning once.
