Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 unbeaten eggs
  • 1 c. oil or 3/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sour milk
  • 1 Tbsp. (level) soda
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Sift dry ingredients 3 times, then add to eggs, oil and milk mixture.
  2. Add
  3. 1 cup boiling water and vanilla.
  4. Put into a 9 x 12-inch pan.
  5. Bake at 350°.
