Instructions
- Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
- Add butter and shortening.
- Cut into flour until thoroughly mixed together.
- Beat eggs in large bowl.
- Add milk, then stir in flour mixture.
- Mix to a good consistency.
- Knead as little as possible.
- Pat out on floured board and cut thick.
- Put on baking pan. Bake in a hot oven at 450° for 15 to 17 minutes.
- Makes two dozen.
