  • 12 ears fresh corn
  • oil (for deep fat frying)
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove husks and silks from the corn ears.
  3. Wash and dry the corn thoroughly with paper towels.
  4. Cut the corn into 3-inch lengths.
  5. Carefully place 3 to 4 pieces of corn into the hot oil at a time.
  6. Fry until lightly browned, about 3 to 4 minutes, being careful as oil may splatter.
  7. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.
