Ingredients

  • pieces of bacon
  • raw green beans
  • raw yellow beans

Instructions

  1. Cut the bacon into small pieces and place them in a heavy skillet.
  2. Add the green or yellow beans on top of the bacon in the skillet.
  3. Cover with a lid and cook at 325°F, stirring frequently.
  4. When the beans begin to stick to the bottom of the skillet, add about a cup of water.
  5. Let the beans steam, stirring and adding more water as needed to prevent sticking.
  6. Cook until the beans are tender and flavors meld, approximately 1 hour.
