Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • salad oil (for frying)
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix eggs, sugar, milk, salt, and 1 cup of flour until well blended.
  2. Stir in the remaining flour to form a dough.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours or until easy to handle, or place in freezer for 40 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into bow tie shapes.
  5. Heat salad oil in a deep fryer or large skillet.
  6. Fry the bow ties until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
