Ingredients

  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups quick grits
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 roll garlic cheese
  • dash of Tabasco
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil and add 1 teaspoon of salt.
  2. Gradually stir in 1 1/2 cups of quick grits and cook until thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and add 1 stick of oleo, garlic cheese roll, dash of Tabasco, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix until well combined and pour into a greased 9 x 11-inch pan.
  5. Top the casserole with crushed Fritos.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 45 minutes until hot and bubbly.
