Ingredients

  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Make the batter and let it stand for an hour.
  2. Temper the frypan to the correct temperature.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup of batter into a well-greased pan.
  4. Sprinkle currants on top of the batter.
  5. Brown the pancake on both sides.
  6. Spread with butter and sprinkle with sugar before serving.
