- Place the thinly sliced meat in a container, layering 3 or 4 slices deep.
- Spoon the marinade over each layer of meat, ensuring even coating.
- Cover the container tightly and marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 12 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Lay the marinated meat on greased racks in a single layer.
- Place in a preheated oven at 160°F (71°C) and bake for 4 to 5 hours.
- Reduce oven temperature to 130°F (54°C) and continue baking until dry, about 1-2 hours more.
