Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 3 tablespoons skim milk
  • pinch ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and place them in a heavy plastic bag.
  2. Freeze the bananas for at least 6 hours.
  3. Remove from the freezer and cut each banana into 5 or 6 pieces.
  4. In a food processor fitted with a metal blade, process the banana pieces, ricotta cheese, skim milk, and ground nutmeg.
  5. Scrape the sides of the bowl as needed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
