Ingredients

  • 20 oz. package cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened

Instructions

  1. Combine crushed cookies, melted butter, and chopped pecans.
  2. Sprinkle one-third of the cookie mixture in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  3. Spread half of the softened vanilla ice cream on top.
  4. Repeat the layering: sprinkle remaining cookie mixture over the ice cream.
  5. Freeze for 8 hours until firm.
  6. Optional: swirl chocolate sauce on top before serving.
