- Pour the fruit cocktail into a mixing bowl.
- Add 2/3 of the yellow cake mix to the fruit and mix well.
- Melt the oleo (butter) and add it to the batter, stirring to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a medium-sized Pyrex bowl.
- Bake at 325°F until the top is lightly browned and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and serve warm with whipped cream.
