Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 stick oleo (butter)

Instructions

  1. Pour the fruit cocktail into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add 2/3 of the yellow cake mix to the fruit and mix well.
  3. Melt the oleo (butter) and add it to the batter, stirring to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into a medium-sized Pyrex bowl.
  5. Bake at 325°F until the top is lightly browned and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from oven and serve warm with whipped cream.
