Fruit Freezes

Refreshing and naturally sweet fruit freezes combine watermelon and raspberries for a cool treat, perfect for hot days and suitable for all ages, especially fruit lovers.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups seedless watermelon chunks
  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen raspberries in syrup, partially thawed
  • wooden sticks
  • 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place seedless watermelon chunks and partially thawed frozen raspberries in a blender or food processor.
  2. Puree until smooth.
  3. Pour the fruit mixture into pop molds or paper cups.
  4. Insert wooden sticks into each mold or cup.
  5. Optionally, add a dollop of low-fat vanilla yogurt on top of each before freezing.
  6. Freeze until firm, about 4 hours or overnight.
