Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 1/4 cup minced onions
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a deep skillet over medium heat. Stir in celery and onions; cook and stir until tender but crisp, 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Mix orange juice, chicken broth, rice, orange zest, and poultry seasoning into the vegetable mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Reduce heat; cover. Simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 25 minutes.
