Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. orange or lemon rind
  • 3/4 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. maraschino cherries or fruit cake mix

Instructions

  1. Beat
  2. together the margarine, salt, sugar and egg.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients.
  4. Bake 10 to 11 minutes at 350°.
