Creamy, hearty casserole combining tender fry chicken, egg noodles, and savory mushroom and celery soups, topped with melted Cheddar cheese—perfect for comforting family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 cups fry chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 1 can cream of celery soup (undiluted)
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 3 1/2 cups wide egg noodles
  • 2 cups medium Cheddar cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Cook, drain, and rinse the egg noodles thoroughly.
  2. Mix the cooked noodles, fry chicken pieces, undiluted cream of mushroom soup, undiluted cream of celery soup, evaporated milk, and grated Cheddar cheese together.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, saving some cheese for the top.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the casserole.
  5. Bake at 375°F until the casserole bubbles, about 30 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
