Spicy Poultry Stuffing

Ingredients
- 2 qt. corn bread crumbs ⓘ
- 1 qt. toasted bread crumbs
- 2 slightly beaten eggs ⓘ
- 1 c. cooked giblets
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup ⓘ
- 1 large onion ⓘ
- 3 stalks celery ⓘ
- 1 medium bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic ⓘ
- stock from giblets ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. paprika ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. sage ⓘ
Instructions
- Saute onion, garlic, and celery in vegetable oil until clear.
- Mix bread crumbs and add finely chopped green pepper and parsley.
- Add cooked giblets, beaten eggs, and cream of mushroom soup to the mixture.
- Incorporate the sauteed vegetables into the mixture.
- Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
- Add giblet stock to achieve a soft consistency.
- Fill the fowl cavity with the stuffing, not stuffing too tightly.
- Place the remaining stuffing in a greased baking dish.
- Cover the dish and bake for 35 minutes at 450°F.
- Serve with roasted fowl or pork chops.
