Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Hines butter fudge cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 2 sq. melted semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1/2 c. coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix first 3 ingredients and press into 13 x 11-inch short cake pan.
  2. Combine the next ingredients and pour over chocolate mixture.
  3. Bake for 40 minutes at 300°.
