- Fry the hamburger meat and drain excess fat.
- Layer peeled and sliced potatoes, peeled and sliced carrots, drained English peas, and drained corn in a large baking dish.
- Add the cooked meat on top of the layered vegetables.
- Place small pieces of oleo (butter) on top of the meat.
- Pour the canned tomatoes and tomato sauce over the entire casserole without stirring.
- Cover the dish and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
