Ingredients

  • 1 deep dish pie shell
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 3 medium tomatoes, peeled and sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, shredded Cheddar cheese, drained mushrooms, crumbled bacon, chopped green pepper, and chopped onion.
  3. Layer half of the sliced tomatoes in the pie crust.
  4. Top with half of the mayonnaise mixture.
  5. Repeat the layers with remaining tomatoes and mayonnaise mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
