Garlic Cheese Rolls

Cheddar cheese and cream cheese are blended with ground pecans and garlic, then rolled in chili powder for a flavorful, cheesy snack perfect for parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese
  • 2 lb. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. ground pecans
  • 1 button garlic
  • chili powder

Instructions

  1. Grate the Cheddar cheese, then cream it with the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Grind the pecans and garlic, then mix them into the cheese mixture.
  3. Divide the mixture into three portions and roll each into a roll about 1 1/2 inches thick.
  4. Roll each cheese roll in chili powder to coat evenly.
  5. Wrap the rolls in wax paper and refrigerate.
