Garlic Pepper Toast
Ingredients
- 1 cup sliced onion ⓘ
- 1 each small green, sweet red and yellow pepper, julienned
- 3 garlic cloves, minced ⓘ
- 5 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided ⓘ
- 1-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh basil or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt ⓘ
- 1 loaf (1 pound) French bread ⓘ
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese ⓘ
