- Drain the thawed spinach very well.
- Place the chicken breasts in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Arrange 3/4 of the peeled garlic cloves around the chicken.
- Spread the drained spinach evenly over the chicken.
- Process the cream of chicken soup, white wine or champagne, remaining garlic, and ground ginger until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken and spinach.
- Cover the dish and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese, and bake uncovered until the cheese is melted.
