Ingredients

  • 1 can pie filling (apple, cherry, or blueberry)
  • 1 (9 oz.) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Empty the can of pie filling into a 6 x 10-inch buttered Pyrex dish.
  2. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pie filling without patting it down.
  3. Melt the margarine and drizzle it over the cake mix and pie filling.
  4. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the top.
  5. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 1 hour.
  6. Cut into squares and serve warm with ice cream.
