Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes until soft with salt; drain water, reserving all but 2 tablespoons.
  2. Mix cornstarch and milk in a separate cup.
  3. Pour the milk and cornstarch mixture into the potatoes.
  4. Add butter and grated cheese; cook on stove until cheese is melted and the mixture thickens.
