German Apple Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • quartered apples
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Beat egg.
  2. Add milk, melted butter, flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Stir well and pour into buttered, shallow dish.
  4. Press quartered apples into the mixture.
  5. Dust with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake until apples are tender.
