Giant Taco Appetizer

A vibrant, layered taco appetizer featuring creamy bean dip, guacamole, seasoned sour cream, fresh tomatoes, green onions, olives, and melted cheddar, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans jalapeno bean dip
  • 16 oz. guacamole
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 3 tomatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 bunch green onions (scallions, thinly sliced with 4-inches of green top)
  • 1 (6 oz.) can black olives, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • taco chips

Instructions

  1. Spread bean dip in a circle or shape of platter, leaving room around the edge to arrange taco chips.
  2. Spread guacamole over the bean dip.
  3. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning.
  4. Spread the sour cream mixture over the guacamole layer.
  5. Sprinkle diced tomatoes on top of the sour cream layer.
  6. Arrange sliced green onions over the tomatoes.
  7. Place sliced black olives over the green onions.
  8. Top the olives with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  9. Cover tightly and store in the refrigerator for no longer than 8 to 10 hours.
  10. Serve with taco chips.
