Ginger Balls are sweet, spicy treats with a crunchy gingersnap exterior and a nutty pecan center, perfect for holiday gatherings or festive dessert platters.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. gingersnaps
  • Cool Whip
  • 1 c. pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Crush gingersnaps not too fine; mix in enough Cool Whip to form a workable mixture.
  2. Place a pecan half in the center of a small portion of the gingersnap mixture and shape it around the pecan to form a ball.
  3. Roll each ball in confectioners' sugar until coated.
  4. Chill the balls overnight.
  5. The next morning, roll the balls in sugar again if they appear moist.
