Ingredients

  • 5 medium carrots
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Scrub carrots and slice into coins.
  2. Cook carrots until tender.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan; add orange juice, sugar, salt, ginger, and cornstarch.
  4. Bring mixture just to a boil until it thickens, then pour over the drained, cooked carrots.
