Ingredients

  • 6 c. white vinegar
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. alum
  • hot peppers

Instructions

  1. Strip peppers into rings.
  2. Boil vinegar, water, and sugar.
  3. Put salt, garlic, and alum into a jar.
  4. Pack jar with peppers tightly and pour vinegar mixture over peppers.
  5. Seal jar and wait 30 days to eat.
