Giustino'S Pepperoni Bread

A savory pepperoni and Swiss cheese bread with a soft, yeasted dough, perfect for snacking or sharing at gatherings. Rich, cheesy, and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 packages dry yeast
  • 1 pound pepperoni
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 pound Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the yeast and warm water and allow the yeast to bloom for approximately 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix 1 1/2 cups of flour and the bloomed yeast mixture.
  3. Cover well and keep warm; allow to rise for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Dice the pepperoni into 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/4 inch pieces and shred the Swiss cheese. Reserve in a bowl.
