Spinach Calzone

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. dough
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 3 bags frozen spinach, thawed
  • 1 large can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can sliced black olives, drained
  • 1/2 package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 package shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Squeeze water out of the thawed spinach and place it in a bowl.
  2. Add olive oil and garlic powder to the spinach.
  3. Mix the spinach with a fork until well combined.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Roll out the dough and cut into portions for calzones.
  6. Fill each dough portion with the spinach mixture, sliced mushrooms, black olives, shredded cheeses, and sliced pepperoni.
  7. Seal the edges of the dough to form a calzone.
  8. Place the calzones on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
