Sweet and savory glazed beef with garlic and soy sauce, perfect for hearty dinners. Pairs well with rice and broccoli for a complete meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb beef stew meat
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 c water
  • 1/2 c soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown beef in oil in a skillet.
  2. Push the beef to the outer edges of the skillet.
  3. Add crushed garlic and sauté.
  4. Stir in water and soy sauce.
  5. Bring to a hard boil.
  6. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  7. Uncover and cook over medium-high heat until the liquid is gone and the beef is glazed.
  8. Stir often so all sides of the beef pieces are coated.
  9. Serve with rice and broccoli.
