Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. warm sweet milk
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 9 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 5 1/2 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast with warm milk, then add salt, sugar, oil, and eggs. Mix well.
  2. Add flour gradually to form a dough.
  3. If dough is too soft, add more flour; if too stiff, add a little water.
  4. Let the dough rise until it reaches the top of the bowl; then punch it down with a spoon.
  5. Turn the dough onto floured waxed paper and shape into small rolls.
  6. Place the rolls in a greased pan.
  7. Let the rolls rise again until doubled in size.
  8. Bake in a 375°F oven until golden brown.
