Glenn'S Corn Chowder

Ingredients

  • 7 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp
  • 1 can corn (whole)
  • 2 cans corn (cream-style)
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes, onions, carrots and seasonings until done and thick.
  2. Add corn and bacon pieces.
  3. Continue cooking (stirring often).
  4. Turn fire out and add milk.
  5. Stir until completely mixed. (Do not cook after adding milk.)
  6. Serves 10 to 12 people.
