Glogg Nog
Glogg Nog is a festive, creamy punch blending warm spices, citrus juices, and vanilla ice cream, perfect for holiday gatherings and celebrations with a rich, spiced flavor profile.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves ⓘ
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened ⓘ
- 6 cups orange juice ⓘ
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 quart (4 cups) ginger ale, chilled ⓘ
- ice ring (optional) ⓘ
- ground nutmeg (optional) ⓘ
- stick cinnamon (optional) ⓘ
Instructions
- Beat eggs on low speed of electric mixer until blended.
- Add sugar and ground spices (cardamom, cinnamon, cloves).
- Beat at medium speed until sugar is dissolved.
- On low speed, beat in softened vanilla ice cream.
- Add orange juice and lemon juice.
- Cover and chill the mixture.
- To serve, pour the chilled mixture into a large punch bowl.
- Slowly pour in chilled ginger ale, stirring with an up and down motion.
- Add an ice ring to the punch bowl, if desired.
- For each serving, sprinkle ground nutmeg on top and add a stick cinnamon stirrer, if desired.
