- In skillet, brown chops (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat.
- Stir in soup, water, carrots, onion and sage.
- Cover; cook over low heat 15 minutes.
- Add green pepper; cook 15 minutes more or until done.
- Stir occasionally.
- Makes 4 servings.
