Gold Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. carrots, thinly sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • dash of rubbed sage
  • 1 small green pepper, cut in strips

Instructions

  1. In skillet, brown chops (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat.
  2. Stir in soup, water, carrots, onion and sage.
  3. Cover; cook over low heat 15 minutes.
  4. Add green pepper; cook 15 minutes more or until done.
  5. Stir occasionally.
  6. Makes 4 servings.
