Ingredients

  • 2 large Golden Delicious apples, diced
  • 2 large Red Delicious apples, diced
  • 4 large bananas, sliced
  • 2 (20 oz.) cans pineapple chunks, drained
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained
  • whole green grapes (optional)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. Mix together sugar, cornstarch, reserved pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice in a saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour the hot sauce over the prepared fruit and gently toss to combine.
  4. Leave uncovered until the salad is cooled and the flavors meld.
