Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 apples

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet.
  2. Add sugar, ginger, water, and lemon juice to the skillet.
  3. Add cored and sliced apples to the skillet.
  4. Coat apple slices with the butter mixture; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Uncover and cook longer, if necessary, until apples are tender.
